CAR RELOCATIONS
Heaphy track.
We can relocate your vehicle the whole distance from Brown hut (pick up 11:00 am) to Kohaihai (drop off 1:00pm), or vise versa. The vehicle will need a full tank. Cost for 450 kms journey $320.00.
Alternatively you are welcome to leave your car here in Mapua where it is safe and then I take you into Brown hut ($50 each depart morning) and which also saves your car going through the fords. We can then relocate your vehicle from here to Kohaihai shelter waiting at Kohaihai on a date ready for your arrival ($250) .
Otherwise, you leave your vehicle here at my place* and I then take you the complete return trip of both ends of the Heaphy track by bus or shuttle; to Brown hut and return from Kohaihai shelter to bring you back to your vehicle. The cost will be $150 each (depends on numbers). The Heaphy bus $110 each.

Abel Tasman.
We can relocate your vehicle the whole distance for $200..Marahau car park (pick up usually 09:00 am) to Wainui Bay car park (drop off 1:00pm), or vise versa. The vehicle will need over a half tank.
Alternatively you are welcome to leave your car here in Mapua where it is safe and then I take you into Wainui or Marahau ($20pp to Marahau or 40pp to Wainui by shuttle, but we need a minimum 4 persons).
Otherwise, you leave your vehicle here at my place* and I then take you the complete return trip of both ends of the Abel Tasman track ; to Marahau and return from Wainui Bay bring you back to your vehicle. The cost will be $60 each (min 4).
The Wangapeka track.
We can relocate your vehicle the whole distance for $320.00. From Little Wanganui (Wangapeka Road) to Rolling River Junction car park, or vise versa. The vehicle will need a full tank.
The best solution if possible would be to pick up your car relocater driver here in Mapua (depends if you have a spare seat) as you pass through to Rolling River junction end and then we take it to Little Wanganui via the Heaphy bus schedule or a Trek Express charter see existing trips title="existing trips" .

Alternatively you are welcome to leave your car here in Mapua where it is safe and then I take you into Rolling River Junction end for $35 each (min. 4 persons) to and $105 each to Little Wanganui, Wangapeka road end car park by shuttle, but again we need a minimum 4 persons.
Otherwise, you leave your vehicle here at my place* and I then take you the complete return trip of both ends of the Wangapeka track ; to Flora saddle and return from Rolling River Junction to bring you back to your vehicle. The cost will be $145 each (min 4).
The Leslie Karamea.
Slightly more awkward this one!
We can relocate your vehicle the whole distance for $200..Flora Saddle to Rolling River Junction car park, or vise versa. The vehicle will need a half tank.
The best solution if possible would be to pick up your car relocater driver here in Mapua as you pass through to either the Rolling River Junction road end (depends if you have a spare seat!) or the Flora Saddle, and then we bring it back to Mapua. We then leave the vehicle at the other end and make a special trip with the shuttle as the tracks are not used so frequently. Otherwise we may have an existing trip that coincides with your schedule.
Alternatively you are welcome to leave your car here in Mapua where it is safe and then I take you into either end for $30 each to Flora Saddle and $35 each to Rolling River Junction car park by shuttle, but again we need a minimum 4 persons.
Otherwise, you leave your vehicle here at my place* and I then take you the complete return trip of both ends of the Leslie Karamea track ; to Flora saddle and return from Rolling River Junction (vise versa) to bring you back to your vehicle. The cost will be $65 each (min 4).
* Car Storage in Trek Express and The Heaphy Bus Mapua yard: Please note the vehicle will left at owners risk and we cannot be responsible for theft or damage. This is a liability clause, but as of up till now there has been no problems for 14 years being here in a rural area.
For all other tracks just give us a call for a free quote.
CAR STORAGE
We can store your car in a lockable shed if it has kayaks or bicycles attached outside the vehicle, or you prefer the contents to be 110% safe. There will be a charge for that service as there is minimum space, but free to all vehicles parked in the yard at your own risk*.
VAN RENTAL
If you would like to rent a 10 seat 4WD van to compliment your existing vehicle.. ie two vehicles at either end, or you prefer the flexibility of a rental we can leave one waiting at the airport for your arrival, please let us know.Prices will depend on mileage, length of hire and locations.
