Fares illustrated are per person, but for chartered trips (ie. specific to customers needs), we need a minimum five persons, or the equivalent fare after which booked we can advertise and try find the extras passengers to share. Gas is available for those that come off flights at $10:00 for a 230gm twist top cannister. Rest break and toilet stops will be offered, but please come prepared to make a direct journey to your destination, or request a stop (other than a comfort stop) before the trip quote is finalised.
Please no eating or drinking on board and expect a direct journey (except comfort stops). This includes take away coffee.
Conditions of booking:
There is a 10% booking fee if more than a weeks notice of cancellation is given, 50% is charged with less than a weeks notice and there is a 100% booking fee if notice of cancellation is the day before. Depending on the circumstances, we will give a full credit on the next trip provided it combines with an existing trip, but please note this up to our discretion. For trips advertised on the "Existing Trips " page (to subsidise a chartered trip), a minimum 50% cancellation fee will be charged if other persons are booked on the back of the charter at the time of cancellation.
There is no eating or drinking on board the transport. Be prepared for a direct trip unless necessitated by the driver to keep his legal hours. Before departure please make sure that you have made the necessary comfort requirements, ie food, drink and toiletries. Allow for plane delays before pick up. On request, the driver will stop for a quick toilet stop at the nearest possible convenience. If however, a member of the party is late, has forgotten a vital foodstuff or piece of equipment, or for whatever reason, then a stop will be charged minimum $20 for up to 20 minutes, or $1 per minute thereafter.
Conditions of booking for carriage of bikes and luggage:
Provided that a return trip is booked, carriage of bikes and packs is free to location of drop off and pick up. If trampers book on our services they can have their extra luggage stored or couriered to their accommodation or brought to the track end, there will be a small charge for this service. All bags must be labelled with name, destination and date of pick up please. Please note that though care is taken, transport of items is at owner's risk and the business is not liable for loss or damage.
Please also note that we try to be on time, but the nature of this business we cannot predict every hold up and therefore cannot guarantee being on time, every time. Please make sure you leave plenty of time to catch flights or other scheduled departures. We would really appreciate being forewarned of flights or other onward journeys on the same day.
Additional conditions for charter trips.
When booking a charter trip with less than 5 persons, we will try and find others to contribute their fares towards your charter provided no additional mileage, time or expense is involved, and less a 10% booking fee to cover admin costs of each additional fare to make up the minimum 5 fare requirement. We require you to apply for the refund after the transport has finished. Though we try to be flexible as possible, these bookings rely on stability and therefore we adhere to the booking conditions set out clearly before and after the booking. If however you change any of the booking; time, date and location, then there will be no refunds of additional fares whatsoever and there will be a 100% cancellation fee if you decide to cancel again. If you make changes, depending on the circumstances we may choose to cancel the original booking and then rebook afresh which will involve extra costs for the new trip. We offer charter trips as a service so that people can book specific trips to suit what they want and advertise to try and get others on board to save on transport costs. This requires a fair bit of juggling and administration work for our company and we do our best to sort challenges as they arise (eg weather, injuries, road and track closures, cancelled flights etc), but if necessary will operate the trip without passengers who cannot make the specified time.
